Home Invasion Robbery & Y God Iz Good

on 2/6/09 @ about 4am, my family & i were victimz of a home invasion robbery...we were held @ gunpoint & repeatedly asked the ? *wherez the money @?*...the people that did thiz came through r front door & the crazy thing about the whole situation iz that i believe the LORD woke me up....once i woke up i laid n my bed 4 a few minutez tryna figure out wat thiz noise waz that i waz hearing comin from downstairz....they were basically prying the door open with probably a crow bar or something of that nature....gunz were pointed n r facez etc....fortunately 4 uz, my hubby & brother were not here @ the time...both of them r outta town on bizznezz, & that may b 1 of the *positive* thingz 2 come outta thiz horrible occurrence...i honestly believe had they been here with uz, the ending 2 thiz story would most likely b tragic...no doubt i had 2 go out & pick up some protection 4 uz now cuz my brother & hubby still havent made it back 2 uz...i refuse 2 b another victim & itz amazing wat u will do 4 ur kidz...but n no way will n e body come back n thiz house & point gunz n my kidz, or n e of my loved onez facez again....so now we have 1 rottweiler n the house with uz, & 1 patrolling the front yard....GOD blezz them if they get past the 1 n the yard...but if they do, please believe me when i say ill b shooting 1st & askin ?'z later....my hubby & my brother were repeately asking uz y didnt we have the dogz out?...2 b honest, we couldnt even answer them....thiz haz 2 b 1 of the most traumatic thingz that ive eva experienced n my life...especially when u dont kno if ur gonna b able 2 live 2 tell about it or wat the outcome iz gonna b...i honestly thought that we were all gonna b killed & r story on the morning newz...omg....needlezz 2 say, we're now n the procezz of relocating once again...im soooo ready 2 go now 2....itz 2 scary not knowing if theyre gonna try 2 come back or if somebody else iz having n e bright ideaz 2 try & come & do the same thing...smh....i cant stop thanking the GOOD LORD up above 4 letting uz live another day...obviously it wasnt r time 2 go or we'd b gone...i guezz we still have some bizznezz 2 handle while down here...GOD IZ GOOD ALL THE TIME, & ALL THE TIME GOD IZ GOOD....im truly counting my blessingz on a daily now....im thankful 2 b alive...im thankful my family'z livez were spared...im just thankful period....once again, GOD IZ GOOD ALL THE TIME, & ALL THE TIME GOD IZ GOOD....can i get an amen?

i have been wanting 2 purchase some hair buttaz, but i really believe they're overpriced & u dont get that much 2 begin with...shit we're falling on hard timez rite now, so i figured it would b cheaper 2 make my own...so after perusing variouz hair boardz & actually joining another 1 thatz geared 2wardz making ur own productz, it waz now time 2 start experimenting...i decided 2 make an aloe butta last nite, & it actually came out betta than i expected....(thiz iz the mixture after it waz whipped...soooo soft & creamy)
thiz waz the 3rd butta that i had made within the past week, & i definitely think i may b on 2 something...not 2 mention that my pocketz r thanking me bcuz most of the ingredientz i already had, i get more 4 my money, & the best 1 of all iz that i DON'T have 2 wait 4 my shipment 2 come n the mail...lol...so, all n all im very happy with the resultz that it produced...i had actually washed my hair last nite & after letting it air dry, i applied my new butta 2 my hair, sealed with my oil mix, & braided it up n some plaitz....thiz morning i felt my hair 4 the *softnezz* that i owe so desire, & it waz there...lol...o btw, the 1st pic @ the top iz the mixture after it had been refrigerated all nite, which produced a nice *hard* butta...the 2nd pic iz rite after it had been whipped....lite & creamy...im a definte happy camper...l8r folkz...

so seeing how i have more than enuff hair productz & i dont need 2 get n e thing else, i decided 2 start back up on makeup grind....ever since i left cali, thingz just aint been the same 4 a gangsta...lol...but um, last year i had got n2 L'orealz H.I.P pigmentz...when they 1st came out i started buying the dual shadowz, the loose powderz, the color stickz, & the creme shadowz... they really didnt have that many colorz...but now, ive noticed that they dun did some major upgradez 4real....so i picked up 2 dual colorz 2day, along with some mascaraz by covergirl & maybelline, & some lipgloss by jordana....now about a month ago i had purchased covergirlz lash blast & maybelline'z colossal....HATED EMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....lashez were NOT blasting, nor were they colossal size...so i had 2 go back 2 wat got my lashez poppin n the 1st place which iz covergirlz *fantastic lash* & *volume exact*, along with maybellinez O/G triple O/G *great lash*...now those 3 right there, they getz it POPPIN...i got all of em @ walgreenz...az a matta of fact the great lash waz buy 1 get 1 free....it waz on sale 4 $2.99...now that waz rite up my alley....everything that i bought 2day, i have used b4 & i luv them...once i find some colorz or brandz that i like, i usually stick with em....pluz they're affordable & THEY WORK!!!....im not high maintenance when it comez 2 makeup...i DONT have 2 have M.A.C....they're overpriced az far az im concerned...but then again, i'm the minority where m.a.c iz concerned & thatz just my OPINION....which iz the ONLY opinion that matterz on thiz here blog...peace younginzzzzzzzzzzzz..

so like i said in yesterdayz post, i purchased my mega tek & i officially kicked off the challenge 2day....im in it 4 the long haul, which iz about 6 monthz...so we'll c if i can get thiz hair of minez 2 do something miraculouz within that time frame...got my fingaz & toez crossed....ive also started applying it 2 my son'z hair az well...although he'z had great resultz with the *moe grow* mix, he'z not consistent with applying it on a daily basis...so i temporarily stopped him from using it, & now i started him on the mega tek az well...since ill b using the MT az also, i'll make sure 2 stay on top of hiz usage...lol...i also wanna c if the areaz that didnt fill n with the moe grow, can b filled n with the MT....welpz i posted both of r starting picz, & i'll b sure 2 continuously post updatez @ the 2 month intervalz...n the mean time, peace n hair greaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee....

okee so like n my previouz post, i had explained that *Babe* haz been on my bumper over the past few monthz 2 cut hiz dreadful endz...im like man, i waz just lookin @ hiz hair like i dont wanna...just 2 wash, condition, dry, & braid hiz hair iz an all day extravaganza okee?...ugh, he haz the prettiest hair eva, but bcuz of the thicknezz, & the length it doesnt make it a *job*...itz more like an *adventure*...fast forward 2 yesterday, & i had 2 get on my grind 2 do wat needed 2 b done...so i had 2 flat iron ALL that dam hair b4 i could even cut it...hiz hair when straight, iz like *Real'z* from the real/chance of luv show...both n thicknezz & n length although i think real haz him beat by about a few inchez, but not that much...lol...hiz hair waz oooo so silky, but the endz?....omg, they were like brittle azz sand paper or some other undescribable shit....i tried 2 take off @ least 2 inchez, but he wasnt going 4 that...imagine a big azz man crying over some dead azz hair that can grow back n a few monthz....wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....hiz hair growz like weedz mind u...ugh, he makez me sick....@ n e rate, i told him i guezz we'll just have 2 trim it up every other month or so from thiz point forward since he waz being a crybaby about the situation...blah...he getz on my dam nervez....i dont really have a b4 shot of when it waz straightened...so these picz will have 2 do....everything waz taken yesterday...the 1st pic iz after it air dried...the 2nd pic iz after hiz back waz cut...& the last 1 iz the final result...happy dayz r here again, now that im finished...l8r gatorz!

okee so another hair day waz upon us & it waz time 2 tame that coarse beast that we call *hair*....i basically just pre-poo'ed her hair with cholesterol & evoo....washed, conditioned, & blow dried...by the time i had finished, i waz tired so she wore a bun on monday 2 skool...2day i cornrowed it & i used wave nouveau moisturizing finishing lotion along with their daily humectant....b4 i had even got started it waz soooo soft from the day b4 when i had used it & put it n a bun...i waz like wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.....it seemed 2 have worked better than all the previous moisturizerz i had been using on her hair...so now i kno 4 sure that thiz iz gonna b a staple moisturizer 4 her hair az well az minez....thankz sunshyne 4pimpin my ride....lol....

while perusing the LHCF board i ran acrozz thiz recipe 2 restore hair growth...apparently a few of the women on the board had experienced hair loss & claimed that thiz recipe, or rather their variation of it, had showed some promising resultz....the reason i waz interested n it iz bcuz thiz past may, my son had began 2lose some hair n the center of hiz head...the 2 bald spotz were about the size of quarterz...now me being a nurse & knowing good & dam well that doctorz are highly overpaid 4 doing absolutely nothing, figured i could rectify the situation & keep my coinz 4 seeing some worthlezz doc, n my pocket....i pretty much think he haz some form of alopecia, but wat do i kno?...im just a lowly azz RN rite?...lol....@ n e rate, i created my own variation of moe grow formula....my concoction basically consistz of: horsetail, nettle, jojoba oil, peppermint & rosemary oilz....i use about 30 dropz of each, but itz totally up 2 u....i got everything i needed from the vitaminshoppe....mixed it up n a lil applicator bottle from walmart & i have him putting that on hiz hair @ least 3 timez a day...now he hasnt really been consistent with it, otherwise im sure ALL of hiz hair wouldve grown back n by now....but um, hiz hair iz & haz been growing back....so im convinced that it definitely workz...ive also been having him apply pine tar 2 the area in conjunction with the moe grow....believe me when i say that the pine tar shit stinkzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....he hatez it, but if u want hair there then u gotta do wat u gotta do....n e wayz, just wanted 2 share thiz recipe with n e body who may b experiencing hair lozz or something similar...

i have been taking vitaminz 4 my hair since about '05....thiz iz when i had the best hair ever n my opinion...@ n e rate, somebody, who shall remain namelezz mentioned that they dont take vitaminz & wanted 2 kno which onez i take....now i will not bore u all with wat each vitamin doez, etc. cuz frankly u can google that info up urself....but um i take *biotin*, *hair, skin, & nails* (yez, thatz the name of it), *prenatal pillz*, *hair* (yez, thatz really the name of it 2), *odorless garlic gel tabz*, & a *multivitamin*....now all of these pretty much contain the same thingz n each of them, but some may have more quantitiez of different thingz....n termz of the dosagez, thatz really up 2 ur liking...just remember that mcg'z r smaller than mg'z, so keep that n mind....4 example, if ur using something with 500mcg, the equivalent 2 it would b 5mgz...same dose....ive been contemplating adding some *msm* i think it iz, n2 my regimen but the jury iz still out on thiz decision....i get all of minez @ walmart & u can 2...or u can opt 2 go where eva the hell u like...lol....i think walmartz pricez r pretty reasonable tho....i can get everything n my pic 4 about $20 buckz or lezz @ walmart & i think thatz pretty good...u gotta b thrifty...ha!...welpz thatz wat i take, so wat vitaminz r u taking?

okee a few folkz have been asking me wat my conditioner cocktail mix consistz of...welpz i had been meaning 2 do a post on thiz like monthz ago, but it totally slipped my mind until i waz asked once again 2day....lol...n e wayz, it consistz of: 1 part Nexxus humectress....1 part pantene moisturizing condish....& 1 part p.m. tea tree condish...once applied, put on a plastic bag & sit under a heating cap or dryer 4 15-20 minz (preferably a heating cap bcuz the heat seemz 2 b a bit more penetrating n my opinion)....wash out & voila!...instant, moisturized, & soft hair....ive been doing thiz 4 about 3 yearz now & ive neva had betta hair dayz...so there u have it folkz...happy conditioning!

Thiz book iz by Treasure Hernandez, an ex-prostitute who iz currently serving time n the pen...I liked thiz book, although it kinda got a lil boring here & there...some of the stuff she kept harping on waz a tad bit redundant & i waz like um can we speed thiz part up please...when r we gonna get 2 the good stuff...lol...but um overall it waz a pretty good read & thiz iz the 1st n a seriez of 4 bookz so far....so now im definitely hooked.

okee so i ordered the shea butter last friday & i received it Monday...talk about fast delivery rite?...but i figured since we're n the same state, it would only b a matter of dayz....wompwompwomp....so um like Traycee said, itz definitely soft 2 the touch, smooth, not a loud smell or n e thing, & it doez seem 2 have a sort of *heavy like*/thick consistency 2 it....which n my book iz a good thing....i would compare thiz 2 a grease, hairdress or a pomade if u kno wat i mean....4 example, some tend 2 look @ the elasta QP mango butta az a *heavy* moisturizer....n my opinion i guezz ya itz true it can b deemed that....but thiz stuff iz a tad bit thicker than the mango butter....so n termz of using thiz az an everyday moisturizer, um i dont think i will....thiz iz a decent moisturizer 2 use say with ur updoz, ponytailz, bunz, etc.....it layz the hair down nice & flat just like a pomade, so thiz would b the ultimate moisturizer if ur trying 2 achieve 1 of those lookz...ive also been putting it on my skin since i loathe lotionz now...if itz not a cream or a butta, i'll pass...thanku very much...but it leavez my skin nice & soft...not 2 greasy....n e who, az far az the final verdict goez im glad i purchased it being the *PJ* that i am....lol....will i repurchase it n the future tho?...hmmm, the jury iz still out on that 1...hahaha....az usual, visual display r @ the bottom...the 1st couple of picz r how i wore my hair 2 work 2nite...i basically co-washed earlier n the day, applied the shea butter 2 wet hair (neva will i do that again...blah) & sealed with evco....took it down b4 work, added a lil more of the butta, spritzed with my aloe/glycerin mix, clipped it up, & waz out the front door....Monday, i basically applied the shea butter on dry hair, put my hair n2 a ponytail, & waz on my way...f.y.i. 4 those of u that have asked how do i normally wear my hair, the pic with it clipped up iz how i usually wear it after i have taken the braid/twist out down, & spritzed it with my aloe/glycerin mix...alrighty folkz, enuff jibber jabber.....im outtttt!!!!!.....

alright due 2 popular demand im gonna b combining my basic blog with my review my blog from thiz point forward....im tired of bloggin all ova the place....so i will b linkin ma blog soon & probably redoing the whole layout cuz i get bored real quik....az soon az i get a dam day off, look out 4 those changez soon....alright onto my blog....alright so i havent been using the heat thing since ive been on thiz K.I.S.S. challenge...thingz have been going good, & im luvin the fact that i can b my plain ole lazy azz self by not bothering with my hair 1 bit....lol...so im basically using my heating pazz once a month 2 do a length check & thatz about it...tuesday waz *D-Day* & i had been itching 2 try the biolage conditioning balm by matrix....so i picked up a bottle of the generic brand @ sallyz, applied thiz while n the shower, & when i got out i also applied my *conditioner cocktail mix* 4 a d/c treatment....i did the d/c 4 about 20-30 minz with no heat.....afterwardz i pressed & flat ironed my hair....then i decided i wanted 2 rock my hair with curlz, so i broke out my curling iron, curled my hair & headed 2 work...by the time i got there, of course all my curlz were gone...needlezz 2 say, i still left it down 4 part of the nite...when i got home yesterday morning, i basically broke out my Proclaimz Natural 7 Olive Oil Foam Wrap & some Hask Serum & rolled my hair on sponge rollerz cuz i wanted 2 c wat kinda curlz & hold i would get from thiz....tied my head down, took my nap, got ready 4 work l8r on n the evening & man waz i surprised....the foam wrap & the serum did itz thing....my set waz sooo tight & curlz were so good that itz still maintaining rite now while im @ work...ive only been on the job 4 about 6hrz now, so thatz pretty good 4 the set 2 still b holdin it down & the curlz 2 still have that *tightnezz* 2 em....i had bought the foam wrap awhile back & thiz waz my 1st time using it....i really didnt wanna use my leave inz, or lottabody bcuz i didnt want my hair 2 revert back 2 itz natural *mandingo* state, which would defeat the whole purpose of using heat....guezz imma have 2 do a review on the Hask & the Foam wrap now on my hair review blog...so if ur interested, check me out...if not, so wat....lol....wompwompwomp, alright of course picz r 2 follow & all that jazz...until next time folkz, peace & hair grease......
